Because of that it should be kind of fun to read.

Jessica began her Peace Corps experience in January of 2008. She is in the west African country of Niger, which is a pretty isolated part of the world. She has little access to computers, and the mail is slow. I (the MOM) blog her letters and occasional emails, and try to keep my voice out of it.

There's something verrry cool about wearing scrubs. This is me and Krista, chillaxin' before surgeries started yesterday morning. Try not to be intimidated.
I hope it's not out-of-school to say it's nice to see you haven't changed with everything you've been through. I can only imagine what those women are going through. We should all be so lucky to say we're American's.

I do look kind of scary. See how big my upper body looks? I look like I could really knock someone down. Doesn't hurt to dream.
Hi Sherri! Thank you! Krista is right here by me, and she says hello. We're both doing well, and are really happy to be here.
Keep up the good work you two.....
Love and good health to your patients.......
